Each unique exhibition showcases and celebrates the diversity of artistic talent\, concepts\, ideas\, and mediums explored by different artists.\nAll artworks on display are available for purchase\, with 100% of sales going directly to the artist. \nBrian Nash – “The Golden Shire”\nDates of exhibition: Saturday 21st March 2026 – Monday 15th June 2026 \nMeet the Artist: Sunday 22nd March 2026\nTime: 4pm until 6pm\nGuests at this event will be the very first to experience the collection\, hear the stories and inspiration behind the works\, engage directly with the artist\, and enjoy the exclusive opportunity to purchase their pieces before the exhibition is viewed more widely.\nThe bar: Guests are welcome to purchase drinks from the bar to enjoy alongside complimentary bar snacks & nibbles.\nThe kitchen: Our much sought-after wood-fired pizzas will also be available to order until 5:30pm for those wishing to take advantage of an early dinner. \nAbout the collection:\nLocations and surroundings of the Hepburn Shire. \nAbout the artist:\n \nBrian Nash was born in Melbourne and has been painting professionally since the 70’s. His wide ranging subjects include sensitive nudes\, gracious old Australian hotels and buildings\, the Flinders Ranges and historical towns\, Mountain Cattlemen of the High Country\, romantic and historical gardens\, and the flower gatherers of Monbulk\, Olinda and Dingley. \nHis subjects are executed with great strength and feeling. The colours are palpably brilliant and the images poetic. \nHe has had over 20 successful one-man exhibitions and has numerous awards to his name. His paintings are in collections in the United States\, Canada\, Great Britain\, Japan\, several European countries and in private collections throughout Australia.

This market is always bustling with customers who come from far and wide to enjoy the great many number of stalls. \nOur Daylesford Cider stall offers tastings from a broad range of our styles. Here you will find some award-winning craft cider from our core range as well as our limited or seasonal releases. In the cooler the months our Spiced Cider and Spiced Apple are a must-try\, and a must-by! These mulled drinks are perfect for the cooler days and nights\, and suitable for all the family with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. \n\n\nA little about the Ballarat Farmers market;\nLocation; In the Winter months\, the market moves to Windmill Drive\, about 400m south of the regular location.  Windmill Drive is fully paved and a much more suitable venue for the wet\, cold months!\nAll other months: Zoo Drive\, NORTH GARDENS RESERVE (just off Wendouree Parade\, Lake Wendouree)The markets operate on the Second and Fourth Saturdays of each month\, with Daylesford Cider only attending the 4th Saturday.The market operates all year round so you have regular access to all the wonderful stallholders.  Some stallholders only come once a month\, and others have highly seasonal produce\, so the range of stalls varies at each market.

This includes seasonal specials\, such as our Spiced Cider. \nEnjoy the flexibility of mixing a 6-pack to suit your palate\, or grab a gift pack for a great gift idea. \nThe Daylesford Sunday market is a destination market with an impressive range of stalls. Whether you are buying fresh veggies and meat\, or soaps\, candles and gift\, there are endless options. There is also coffee and hot food to enjoy on the day. \nA bit about the market:\nThe Daylesford Sunday Market is run by the Daylesford Spa Country Railway and together they are a popular attraction for locals and visitors alike. Running for over 43 years it has become an institution in the Daylesford region. Led by the volunteers at the railway\, they are a not for profit organisation that supports the town of Daylesford and its surrounds. The market is also a dog friendly space to friendly dogs always on a leash. \nThe market runs every Sunday of the year\, rain\, hail\, snow or shine with two exceptions. If the market falls on Christmas day or a “Catastrophic” fire danger day in the central district.\nThe market opens at 8am and winds down (stalls start leaving) from 1pm with a close time of 3pm.
