This fully fermented, dry cider matured in second year old Pinot Noir wine barrels for 8 months. It developed complex tannins, hints of oak and a palate that pairs beautifully with salty rich food.
This cider is un-carbonated & unfiltered, poured straight into the bottle from the barrel. This is not your commercial style cider, so keep an open mind! Drink and enjoy like a wine.
This delicately carbonated thirst-quenching dry cider is the perfect addition to any occasion and would be a great alternative to sparkling wine.
The tannin driven heritage fruit gives length and complexity, while the acidity from the bitter-sharp apples makes for a crisp, clean finish.
Delicious on it’s own – perhaps as a toast at that special occasion, however would equally pair well with seafood, lighter dishes & canapes.
This single varietal cider is based on the heritage cider apple; Bulmer’s Norman. This cider apple is one of our favourite, and certainly brings fantastic depth, tannins and structure to this drink. The cider is close to bone dry, so expect a dry robust finish. A delicious alternative to a light red wine with dinner, excellent with slightly fattier dishes, but just as wonderful on its own, served around 5’c.
2020 saw an abundance of Yarlington Mill apples, a bitter-sweet variety that is famous in the apple growing regions of Somerset & Devonshire. This is a medium-dry cider with soft, pleasant tannins and slight bitterness that you would expect from this apple. The stunning golden hues of this cider come from the skin colour of the apple, and really beckons to be poured into a champagne glass and enjoyed as an aperitivo before dinner.
This cider was fermented using the naturally occurring yeast strains on the skin of the apple, then aged for a couple months with oak. Expect a full bodied cider with good length & tannin structure enhanced by the oak characteristics. This cider finishes medium to dry and is an excellent accompaniment to food.
This lower alcohol alternative was a creation born through the demand at our cellar door for a drink that the drivers could enjoy. The use of heritage cider apples in this blend result in a cider with pleasant soft tannins, a medium palate and lovely finish. This is a gently carbonated cider, and would be a beautiful accompaniment to lunch on a hot summer’s day.
