Welcome to Daylesford Cider
Early on in 2022 Daylesford Cider received the fantastic news that we won the Trophy for ‘Best Traditional Cider In Show’ at the national Australian Cider Awards, as well as 2 Gold medals & 6 Bronze medals across our range of craft cider. Shortly following this, we were invited to the Community Achievement Awards gala dinner in Melbourne, where we were announced as the winner of the Regional Development Victoria’s ‘Business Achievement Award’.
The past 7 years has been a labour of love for Clare & Jon Mackie, who have put their heart & soul into establishing their business & brand, while expanding their range of cider & offerings at the cellar-door & restaurant.

We are conveniently located close to Daylesford, Hepburn and Trentham and only 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne or Geelong and less from Ballarat & Bendigo.
We have well established orchards growing a range of cider apples including 17 different English heritage varieties, all Australian Certified Organic.
Our onsite English-style Tavern cellar-door is open daily for tastings & take away sales, with a restaurant that will be offering casual lunches daily as of Winter 2022.
We produce an impressive & varied range of ciders, with a focus more towards the traditional methods & styles that herald the quality cider apples we grow. Whether you prefer your cider dry & tannin driven, or something lighter or fruitier, we like to think we offer a style to match most palates and any occasion!

You are welcome to join us for lunch with your pooch, however you will need to book a table in the courtyard area & to make a note during your booking that you are bringing your four-legged friend so that we can allocate an appropriate table.

Restaurant: open daily for lunch, casual dining.

Friday to Sunday & public holidays: Wood fired pizza, platters & share plates
