This single varietal cider is based on the heritage cider apple; Bulmer’s Norman. This cider apple is one of our favourite, and certainly brings fantastic depth, tannins and structure to this drink. The cider is close to bone dry, so expect a dry robust finish. A delicious alternative to a light red wine with dinner, excellent with slightly fattier dishes, but just as wonderful on its own, served around 5’c.
Organic Brut Cider* coming soon!
This delicately carbonated thirst-quenching dry cider is the perfect addition to any occasion and would be a great alternative to sparkling wine.
The tannin driven heritage fruit gives length and complexity, while the acidity from the bitter-sharp apples makes for a crisp, clean finish.
Delicious on it’s own – perhaps as a toast at that special occasion, however would equally pair well with seafood, lighter dishes & canapes.
‘arf ‘n ‘arf
‘arf ‘n ‘arf is a great example of one of our more traditional style craft ciders, foremost because it is un-carbonated and made in a similar manner to wine. A very well rounded cider with great balance of astringency, fruitiness and acidity. A perfect accompaniment to a ploughman’s lunch or a decent cheese. ‘arf ‘n ‘arf has received a Silver medal at the Australian Cider Awards 4 years in a row, now that’s consistent!
This is a traditional still cider (un-carbonated).
This cider was fermented using the naturally occurring yeast strains on the skin of the apple, then aged for a couple months with oak. Expect a full bodied cider with good length & tannin structure enhanced by the oak characteristics. This cider finishes medium to dry and is an excellent accompaniment to food.
