Traditional Still cider, beloved for centuries, offers a rich taste of fermented apple juice without the fizz. Its smooth, un-carbonated texture enhances the natural flavours and complexities of our English-heritage cider apple varieties.
Our Traditional Still cider also has a huge appreciation by those who dislike gassiness. As often is with the more modern ciders on the supermarket shelf these days.
Cider has been made this way for 1000’s of years, similarly to wine. Therefore we recommend pairing this still cider with a ploughman’s lunch or a decent cheese. At our cellar-door we love to serve this along side a French Camembert or the Tarwin Blue cheese from Gippsland.
The cider itself is well rounded, with a thoughtful balance t0 astringency, fruitiness and acidity.
It’s not just us who love this unique offering. Our Traditional Still cider has received 4 Silver medals & 1 bronze in the Traditional Cider Category at the Australian Cider Awards over the past 6 years – now that’s consistent!
